For many years, Charlie and his band were the first choice for Jewish weddings in Cape Town, South Africa, because they always delivered. The Charlie Griffin Band also performed at and backed various performers for Yom Ha’atzma’ut for a celebration of thousands of guests.
These functions were inevitably a joyous success. This is due to Charlie’s enviable versatility, disciplined, professionally run band of exceptional musicians, his experienced ability to plan functions and liaise with the various professionals like caterers, banqueting managers, clients, photographers, etc, and his attention to Jewish traditions.
Besides a broad cross-section of universal party music, Charlie also has a good cross-section of well-loved Israeli dance, as well as beautiful ballads, singing in Hebrew and Yiddish.
Charlie is available not only as a solo entertainer with backtracks, but as a DUO, TRIO, up to a 6-PIECE BAND.
